London (Web Desk): Former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa was met with a sizable crowd of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters outside London’s Middle Temple on Tuesday night.

According to reports, a group of PTI supporters gathered at Chancery Lane to stage protest against Isa, who was attending a high-profile event at the Middle Temple after stepping down from his position as the country’s top judge.

The protest was organized by Sayed Zulfi Bukhari, a former special assistant to Imran Khan, and former National Assembly member Maleeka Bokhari. They criticized The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple for recognizing Isa as a Callee and hosting him for the dinner.

A significant police presence was deployed to secure the venue, as numerous demonstrators held placards and shouted slogans against the ex-CJP.

While addressing the crowd, Zulfi reiterated the PTI's claim that Isa had unjustly targeted the Imran Khan -founded party.

Joining the protest was British lawyer Barrister Mark McDonald, who also condemned the Middle Temple's decision to invite the former CJP, insisting that such an invitation should not be extended again.

The Middle Temple is one of the four prestigious Inns of Court in London, renowned for training law students and granting licenses for legal practice.

Qazi Faez Isa made history by being the first Pakistani judge to be elected as a bencher and invited to this distinguished legal institution.

It is pertinent to mention that Qazi Faez Isa studies law at the Middle Temple while his father Qazi Muhammad Isa was also a graduate of the same institute.
