Gaza (Web Desk): Gaza Strip went into darkness on Friday evening with no communications, no phones, no internet connections after Israel cut off the territory's residents from contact with the outside world.
According to reports, people in Gaza are still trying to get the image out to the world but so far minimal information has been shared from besieged enclave.
No information was available on casualties of recent air strikes amid total communication blackout.
Till now, at least 7,326 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7; More than 1,400 people were killed in the Hamas attack on Israel.
Israel’s bombardment of Gaza has intensified after the military said it was “expanding operations” into the territory. The Israeli army widened its air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, which has been under relentless airstrikes since the surprise offensive by Hamas on Oct. 7. Hamas says its fighters have confronted Israeli troops in various locations.

Gaza’s 2.3 million residents are grappling with shortages of food, water, and medicine due to Israel’s massive air bombardment and total blockade of the enclave.
Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes near the Al-Shifa Hospital and Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip late Friday.
International aid agencies said they lost contact with staff in Gaza after Israel knocked out internet and communications.
More than 1 million Palestinian children and their parents are living through “pure horror” in the besieged enclave, says humanitarian group Palestine Red Crescent Society.

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday adopted a resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian armed group Hamas, as Israel intensified its bombardment on Gaza, where phone and internet service have been cut off and Israel has engaged in limited ground skirmishes before an expected invasion.
The UNGA has voted overwhelmingly in favour of a resolution, with 193-member UN passed the resolution, drafted by a group of 22 Arab countries, by a margin of 120 to 14, with 45 countries abstaining. The United States and Israel voted no.
