Islamabad (Web Desk): The coalition government led by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) increased the size of its federal cabinet, bringing the total to 46 members.
According to details, 27 new members of the cabinet, including federal ministers, state ministers, and advisers, officially took oath in a ceremony at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (Presidency).
President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to new cabinet members with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani, and senior officials in attendance.
The cabinet reshuffle included the induction of 13 new federal ministers, 11 state ministers, and three advisers, all of whom are affiliated with the various parties that form the coalition backing Shehbaz Sharif's government.
Among the new appointees to the federal cabinet included Hanif Abbasi, Moeen Watto, Mustafa Kamal, Sardar Yousuf, and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Shaza Fatima, and Junaid Anwar, who were sworn in as federal ministers.
Meanwhile, the 11 cabinet members who took oath as state minister included Talal Chaudhry, Barrister Aqeel Malik, Malik Rasheed, Armghan Subhani, Kheal Das Kohistani, Abdul Rehman Kanju, Bilal Azhar Kayani, Mukhtar Bharath, Shezra Mansab, Aun Chaudhry and Wajiha Qamar.
Moreover, Muhammad Ali, Tauqir Shah and Pervez Khattak took oath as special advisers.
