Islamabad (Web Desk): The United Nations’ International Day in Support of Victims of Torture is being observed today (Wednesday) across the globe including Pakistan.
The theme of the day this year is 'Torture Is A Crime, End It Now'.
The day was first observed by United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 1997 to raise awareness about the suffering of people who undergo torture.
The day helps to raise awareness that torture is a crime against humanity.
