Trump criticizes US immigration policies, calls country a 'dumping ground'

Washington (Web Desk/ Agencies): During a campaign rally in Arizona, former President Donald Trump criticized illegal immigration, asserting that the US has become "like a garbage can for the world."

He expressed his growing frustration with the Biden-Harris administration's border policies, stating, "Every time I talk about what they’ve done to our country, I get angrier."

Border security has been a key focus for Trump throughout his political career. He has frequently claimed that the US is experiencing an "invasion," using derogatory language to describe undocumented immigrants, often portraying them as dangerous criminals.

Earlier this year, Trump announced his intention to deport 15 to 20 million undocumented individuals, a figure significantly higher than the 1.5 million he deported during his time in office.

He has also made controversial claims about Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, alleging they harm local pets—an idea initially suggested by his running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance. Trump has gone so far as to imply that undocumented immigrants have "bad genes."

As he nears the end of his campaign, Trump is emphasizing immigration issues, urging voters to prioritize the removal of undocumented individuals and the closure of the borders.

He has pointed fingers at Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming she is responsible for the increase in illegal immigration due to her role overseeing border security, accusing her of being too lenient.
