Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad recovered from the novel coronavirus on Thursday.
The minister was under treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and was discharged from the hospital today after he tested negative for COVID-19.
Sheikh Rashid tested positive for the coronavirus on June 8, the railways ministry had reported.
According to a statement by the ministry, the railways minister was showing no symptoms of the virus. However, he had undergone self-isolation for two weeks.
