Islamabad (Staff Report): Eidul Fitr will be celebrated across the country on Monday as the Shawwal moon has been sighted.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chairman Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman made a formal announcement to this effect during a press conference here on Sunday (today).
He said that evidence for the sighting of the Shawwal moon had been received and verified on religious as well as legal grounds.
The meetings of all other Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees were also held at their respective offices. The committees recorded evidence for the Shawwal moon from across the country.
