Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan on Wednesday urged the international community to work together to “mitigate” the simmering Rohingya crisis.
Expressing grief over the deaths of more than a dozen Rohingya refugees after a massive fire swept through a shelter camp in Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazar, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said the incident is a “sad reminder of continued sufferings of Rohingya Muslims”.
“We are saddened by massive fire in Rohingya camp at CoxsBazar resulting in deaths & destruction,” the spokesperson said and added, “Our thoughts are with victims & their families. The incident is a sad reminder of contd sufferings of Rohingya Muslims. Int’l community must work together to mitigate Rohingya crisis.”

At least 15 people have been killed in a massive fire that ripped through a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, while at least 400 remain missing, the UN refugee agency said on Tuesday.
