Murree (Web Desk): Caretaker Minister for National Health Services Dr Nadeem Jan on Saturday stated that the government will establish pharma parks and digitise overall health system in the country to meet modern trends of the world.
Addressing a seminar titled "Pakistan Internal Medicine" in Murree, he revealed government's plan to encourage the public-private partnership to augment pharma industry of the country, the Radio Pakistan reported.
"Dialogue is being started with advanced countries to transfer the technology in medical sector to strengthen health infrastructure of the country" Dr Nadeem Jan said.
He urged the developed countries to allocate 20 to 30% of vaccines to lower income countries in case of the outbreak of any pandemic as it will enable them to effectively respond to the disease.
Highlighting the reforms introduced in the health ministry, Dr Nadeem Jan said that accountability cell, anti-harassment cell and placement and promotion committee have been established to streamline its function.
