Gold price drops by Rs2,600 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a decline of Rs2,600 per tola, settling at Rs273,300 on Thursday.

This drop followed a previous price of Rs275,900 on the preceding trading day.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,229, from Rs236,540 to Rs234,311, while the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also decreased, dropping to Rs214,785 from Rs216,828.

The silver market followed a similar trend, with the price of per tola silver reducing by Rs50, bringing it down to Rs3,350.

The cost of 10 grams of silver also dropped by Rs42.87, from Rs2,872.87 to Rs2,872.08.

In the international market, the price of gold also declined by $26, moving from $2,647 to $2,621.

This downward shift in gold and silver prices reflects a broader trend both locally and globally.
