Karachi (Web Desk): The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday said that Pakistan’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to grow by 4% for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22.
In its report of “World Economic Outlook October 2021”, the IMF also endorsed Pakistan’s provisional figures of GDP growth rate of 3.9% during the previous fiscal year.
According to the report, the unemployment rate in Pakistan will also decline from current 5% to 4.8% in the current fiscal year.
The report projected that the country’s inflation rate would ease from last year's 8.9% to 8.5% by end of current fiscal year.
