Gold price drops by Rs7,000 per tola in Pakistan’s domestic market

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant decrease on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs7,000. The price dropped to Rs270,500, down from Rs277,500.

According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs6,000, now priced at Rs231,911, compared to Rs237,911 previously.

The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold saw a similar reduction, falling to Rs212,584 from Rs218,085.

Silver prices followed suit, with per tola silver decreasing by Rs50, now standing at Rs3,250, and the price of 10 grams of silver dropping by Rs42.86 to Rs2,786.

The drop in local prices mirrors a decline in gold rates in international market, which fell by $77, from $2,670 to $2,593 per ounce, according to the ASSJA.
