Islamabad (Web Desk): A case of ‘attempted murder’ and terrorism was registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former premier Imran Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and others
According to details, the case has been registered on the state's behalf at Islamabad’s Noon Police Station under the sections of attempted murder, arson, attack on the state and violence against police personnel as well as anti-terrorism act (ATA).
Other PTI activists nominated in the case included Azam Swati, Omar Ayub, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, party’s Islamabad President Aamir Mughal, Malik Hafeezur Rehman Tipu and 500 other unidentified individuals.
It is pertinent to mention that Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police's Constable Abdul Hameed was allegedly attacked by the rioters during PTI's D-Chowk protest when he was allegedly detained by the protesters during his duty at the Chungi Number 26 on GT Road on October 4.
The injured policeman died after two days when he was under treatment.
