Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader on Sunday was was admitted to a local hospital in Islamabad after falling off a horse and receiving injuries.
According to details, Asad Umar fell from a horse in Budhana village where he was attending a reception hosted in his honour by the PTI’s workers.
The PTI leader who already had the backache issue, received injuries to his back.
Asad Umar won the election on NA-54 seat in the general elections on July 25 and is finance minister-designate.
Later, PTI leader Dr Yasmin Rashid wrote on Twitter that Umar had twisted his ankle and had returned home from the hospital after a checkup. “Glad to hear that Asad_Umar is returning home from the hospital with only a twisted ankle,” she said.
