Total 76 cases registered against PTI founder in Islamabad, IHC told

Islamabad (Web Desk): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) was informed on Thursday that a total of 76 cases have now been filed against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder in the federal capital.

This revelation came after the court was presented with an updated report detailing the number of cases.

The petition, filed by Noreen Niazi, the sister of the PTI founder, was dismissed following the submission of the report.

During the proceedings, the Interior Ministry shared the details of the cases compiled from various provinces, including information from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), as well as reports from Sindh and Balochistan.

While the PTI founder had previously faced 62 cases, an additional 14 First Information Reports (FIRs) were filed after the party's recent protest at D-Chowk in Islamabad.

After reviewing the submitted documents, the IHC concluded the matter by disposing of the petition.
