Pakistan, KSA agree for qualitative change in bilateral trade, investment ties

Riyadh (Web Desk): Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have committed to enhancing their economic, trade, and investment ties, aiming for a substantial shift in their relationship.

This agreement was made during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud on the sidelines of the ‘One Water Summit’ in Riyadh.

The two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the progress of Saudi investments in Pakistan, following the implementation of various Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) and agreements.

PM Shehbaz expressed his gratitude to the Crown Prince for his unwavering support for Pakistan and once again extended an invitation for him to visit Pakistan, to which the Crown Prince showed enthusiasm.

The Saudi Crown Prince highlighted the need for the two nations to boost cooperation, emphasizing its potential to promote economic growth and prosperity in Pakistan.

 He also remarked on the significance of their frequent meetings, calling it a testament to the strong bond and mutual affection between the two countries.

Meanwhile, in his post on social media handle X, Prime Minister Sharif shared his enthusiasm about the frequent high-level exchanges, which he believes are paving the way for stronger economic partnerships.

He reiterated the deep and enduring ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his dedication to strengthening bilateral relations for the benefit of both nations.
