Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government on Thursday announced an increase in fuel prices, with petrol rising by Rs1.35 to reach Rs248.38 per litre.
According to the Finance Division's notification, high-speed diesel (HSD) also saw a hike, up by Rs3.85, resulting in a new price of Rs255.14 per litre.
In a contrasting move, the government has reduced prices for certain other fuels. Light diesel oil will decrease by Rs2.61, bringing it to Rs147.51 per litre, while kerosene oil will see a reduction of Rs1.48, now priced at Rs161.54 per litre.
These revised fuel prices will take effect as of November 1, 2024.
