Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government on Sunday increased petrol price by Rs9.66 per litre for the next 15 days.
The new prices will be effective from today (April 1).
According to a statement by the finance ministry, the price of petrol has been increased as per the recommendation of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
However, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been reduced by Rs3.32 per litre.
The new price of petrol is now Rs289.41 per litre from the previous Rs279.75 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will be available at Rs282.24 per litre.
