Lahore (Web Desk): The Punjab government and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to establish a collaborative Working Group in a bid to enhance bilateral relations.
The decision was made during a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and UAE Ambassador to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi, in Lahore on Monday.
The discussion centered around increasing economic cooperation, advancing key development projects across Punjab, and boosting tourism between the two regions.
CM Maryam encouraged UAE investors to explore business opportunities in Punjab, assuring them of attractive incentives and a supportive environment for their ventures.
Ambassador Alzaabi reiterated the UAE's commitment to fostering stronger ties with Pakistan, particularly through public-private partnerships.
He expressed a keen interest in expanding UAE’s involvement in ongoing and upcoming projects in Punjab, aiming to contribute to the region’s sustainable development.
This move is seen as a step towards forging deeper economic and developmental collaboration between Punjab and the UAE, laying the groundwork for more significant partnerships in the future.
