Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a significant rise on Wednesday.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of one tola of 24 karat gold increased by Rs1,600, reaching Rs275,900, up from Rs274,300.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also climbed by Rs1,372, moving from Rs235,168 to Rs236,540. The cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also went up, rising from Rs215,571 to Rs216,828.
In contrast, silver prices remained stable, with the cost of one tola holding steady at Rs3, 400 and 10 grams priced at Rs2,914.95.
In the international market, the price of gold rose by $16, shifting from $2,631 to $2,647 per ounce.
