Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,300 on Monday, bringing it down to Rs277,500 from Rs278,800.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a reduction, falling by Rs1,115 to Rs237,911 from Rs239,026. In contrast, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose slightly, increasing to Rs218,085 from Rs219,107.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. The price of one tola of silver held steady at Rs3,300, while the rate for 10 grams of silver remained at Rs2,829.21.
Moreover, the price of gold in the international market declined by $13 to $2,670 from $2,683, the association reported.
