Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold continued to climb, with a noticeable increase of Rs800 per tola, bringing the price to Rs274,300 on Wednesday, up from Rs273,500.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA) the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a rise, moving up by Rs686 to Rs235,168 from Rs234,482.
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold experienced an uptick, with the cost of 10 grams rising to Rs215,570 from Rs214,942.
In contrast, the price of silver remained stable, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs3,250 and the 10-gram price at Rs2,786.
Meanwhile, in the global market, the price of gold also edged higher, increasing by $8 to $2,631 per ounce, up from $2,623.
This shift reflects ongoing fluctuations in the international gold market and its impact on local prices.
