Donald Trump extended best wishes to Muslims at start of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak

Washington (Web Desk): United States President Donald Trump has extended best wishes to the Muslims at the start of the holy month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

The White House issued a felicitating message of Trump where he reiterated that his country will always stand with its partners against terrorism and the ideology that fuels it.

Trump’s message was mostly focused on terrorism, he said, “America will always stand with our partners against terrorism and the ideology that fuels it. During this month of Ramazan, let us be resolved to spare no measure so that we may ensure that future generations will be free of this scourge and able to worship and commune in peace.”

Donald Trump’s statement was in sharp contrast from Ramazan greetings released in previous years by President Barack Obama, who spoke about celebrating and honoring the contributions of Muslims to American society.

Donald Trump urged the Muslims to make a resolve during the month of Ramadan to spare no efforts to ensure that future generations are free of the scourge of terrorism and be able to worship in peace.

Today Muslims in America, Europe and the Middle East are observing their first Ramazan, while Muslims in other countries will observe their first Ramazan tomorrow.
