Sehwan (Staff Report): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the entire nation will be in streets if any NRO given to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Hudaibiya scam case.
Speaking to reporters in Sehwan, where he held a rally a day earlier, Imran Khan said, politics of reconciliation and deals will not be accepted anymore since the entire nation is against “corrupt mafia”.
He stated that both Musharraf and Zardari had obtained NROs and were able to carry out corrupt practices. He claimed Zardari and former premier Benazir Bhutto had spent Rs 2 billion in Swiss bank accounts, and the NRO was a result of it.
Earlier, the PTI chief regretted being denied entry to the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Sehwan yesterday. He said the administration made scores of “l0ame excuses”, saying we had armed guards with us but “footage shows that that is not true”.
