Beijing, China (Staff Report): China is now-a-days recruiting robots to help teachers in classrooms.
The robot dubbed as KeeKo has been hired by a Chinese school to assist the teachers. KeeKo can interact with the young children by playing games with them, singing, dancing, reading stories, carrying out conversations and even doing mathematics.
According to Xiamen ZhiTong Technology, the company that created the robot, KeeKo, which is aimed at interacting with children aged below seven, has the intelligence level of a five-year-old child.
