Islamabad (Staff Report): Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif issued a condemnation of the lynching of a university student in Mardan on Saturday afternoon.
The prime minister said, "The entire nation should be united in condemning this crime and the state will never tolerate those who take the law in their own hands".
PM Nawaz said law enforcers have been directed to arrest the culprits. The premier asked countrymen to stand united while condemning the heinous crime. He was quoted as saying, “The nation should stand united to condemn this crime and to promote tolerance and rule of law in the society”.
Nawaz expressed his grief with the victim’s family and said, no father should have to send his child off to be educated, with the fear of having him return in a coffin.
