Lahore (Staff Report): Most beloved attraction of Lahore Zoo female elephant named ‘Suzi’ died today (Saturday) due to illness, zoo administeration reported.
According to Zoo authorities, Suzi was around 35 years old, and reached to her natural life span limit, however, she was suffering from legs pain since three days.
Several years ago after realising that she could not support the weight on her back therefore the zoo administration had discontinued rides on the elephant.
The female elephant ‘Suzi’ was brought to Lahore Zoo in late 80’s, she was the most attractive feature at the zoo and would captivate visitors, especially children, for hours.
