Lahore (Staff Report): Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Irfan and batsman Shahzaib Hasan will present before Pakistan Cricket Board’s Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) today (Monday).
The ACU has summoned Shahzaib Hasan along with Irfan in relation to the board’s investigation into alleged corruption in the Pakistan Super League second edition.
The PCB’s ACU will now record their statements and determine whether to charge them or not, a PCB spokesperson informed said.
Islamabad United’s Mohammad Irfan and Karachi Kings’ Shahzaib Hasan had also been called in for questioning by the PCB during the tournament in Dubai last month but were cleared to play in their remaining matches.
