Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has indicated to deliver a verdict in two to three days on the request of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan regarding the trial in the jail of the cipher case and the appointment of the trial court judge.

Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Aamir Farooq heard the plea of chairman PTI for early decision.

Advocate Sher Afzal Marwat appeared on behalf of Chairman PTI and stated that the jail trial of the cipher case has started but no decision has come on our request, the cipher case is scheduled for hearing again on Monday.

The Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court says that the decision on Khan’s request against the jail trial and judge appointment is already reserved, not till Monday but will try to give the decision in two to three days.

Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court said to lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat during hearing, Tell me that why has it come in the press that you object the transfer of Adiala Jail? When your own petition was to transfer Imran Khan from Attock to Adiala Jail and it was approved, then why is it being discussed so much by you in the press?

Sher Afzal Marwat Advocate said that no such statement was given officially by us, on which the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court said that he was surprised that when your petition was approved then why you were giving such statements.

Lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat said that we knew that B class will be given in Adiala Jail but it was not given, on which Justice Amir Farooq said that there will be a better class.

It should be remembered that yesterday, on behalf of Imran Khan's lawyer, a request was filed for a telephonic meeting with Chairman PTI Batu, in which it was admitted that no consultation was done on behalf of Sher Afzal Marwat regarding the transfer from Attock to Adiala Jail, Imran Khan should not have been transferred from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
