Peshawar (Staff Report): At least 70 Suspects and including one fugitive from various areas of the provincial capital were detained during a police raid.
According to details, police took the suspects under arrest from the jurisdiction of Khan Razzaq and Taj Abad police stations.
In another raid, 37 suspects were also taken into custody and police has also recovered two pistols, dozens of cartridges, marijuana, and alcohol from the suspects’ possession.
At least 32 suspects were arrested by police for failing to fill out the data of occupancy.
Police have registered cases against the suspects under arrest.
SSP Operations Sajid Khan said, among the suspects all Afghan nationals were part of a mobile snatching group to smuggle the stolen mobile phones to Afghanistan, he added, as many as 146 mobile phones were also recovered from the suspect’s possession.
