Lahore (Staff Report): The Punjab government on Monday issued a new schedule for timings in public and private schools across the province.
According to a notification issued by the Punjab government, the new timings for Monday to Thursday will be from 7:45am to 1:15pm with a 30 minute break in between. The timings for Fridays will be from 7:45am to 11:45pm.
Similarly, the timings for the girls’ schools will be from 7:30am to 1:00pm. Moreover, the notification also outlined instructions for schools with double shifts as well. In such schools, the first shift will be from 7:00am to 12:00pm, while the second shift will be operational from 12:30pm to 5:30pm.
The decision has been taken to provide relief to the students as summers begin to make its mark across the country.
