Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday announced the formation of a Special Task Force aimed at tackling human trafficking networks operating within Pakistan.

The task force will be directly overseen by the prime minister, who expressed a firm commitment to ensuring that those responsible for human trafficking will face justice.
During a high-level meeting to review the government's efforts to combat human trafficking, the prime minister urged authorities to accelerate their efforts in apprehending those involved in smuggling people across borders.

He emphasized that all relevant agencies, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, must work together to identify and dismantle these criminal networks.

PM Shehbaz also extended his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic boat disaster involving illegal immigrants, describing the incident as deeply painful for the nation.
