Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices saw a notable increase recently, with the cost of 24 karat gold rising by Rs2,900 to reach Rs289,600 per tola.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), this jump follows a previous price of Rs286,700, marking a significant shift in the market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also went up, increasing by Rs2,486 to Rs248,285 from Rs247,799. The price of 22 karat gold followed suit, with a rise of Rs2,280, pushing its price to Rs227,603 from Rs225,323.
In the silver market, there was also an upward movement. The price of per tola silver rose by Rs31, bringing it to Rs3,432, while the price for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs27 to reach Rs2,942.
Meanwhile, on the international front, gold prices saw a slight increase of $29, bringing its value to $2,772 from $2,743, the association reported.
