Gold price increases by Rs4,250 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a notable surge of Rs4,250 per tola, reaching Rs287,450 on Wednesday, up from Rs 283,200 in the previous trading session.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs3,642, moving from Rs242,798 to Rs 246,440.

Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced an increase, climbing to Rs225,911 from Rs 222,565.

Meanwhile, the price of silver also saw an upward movement, with per tola silver rising by Rs59.40, now priced at Rs3,431.

The price for 10 grams of silver went up by Rs51.50, reaching Rs2,941 from the previous Rs2,889.50.

In the international market, gold prices increased by $40, settling at $2,751 per ounce, up from $2,711 previously, the association reported.
