Islamabad (Web Desk): The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) Monday constituted a nine-member constitutional benches in the Sindh High Court (SHC) for a period of two months.
The Bench will be headed by Justice Muhammad Karim Khan Agha and will be comprising Justice Salim Jessar, Justice Omar Sial, Justice Yousaf Ali Syeed, Justice Abdul Mobeen Lakho, Justice Zulfiqar Ali Sangi, Justice Ms. Sana Akram Minhas, Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro and Justice Arbab Ali Hakro.
Following extensive and thoughtful exchange of views, the Commission considered the formation of the Constitutional Bench in the SHC and approved the names of the judges with a majority of 11 to 4.
The meeting of the commission was held under the 26th Constitutional Amendment in the Supreme Court premises on a one point agenda of formation of the Constitutional Bench in SHC.
