High-level Belarusian delegation arrives in Islamabad ahead of President Lukashenko’s visit
Islamabad (Web Desk): A delegation from Belarus, headed by Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzinkov, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday ahead of President Alexander Lukashenko's visit, to initiate a series of high-level talks aimed at bolstering the relationship between Belarus and Pakistan.

The delegation includes eight ministers and 43 business leaders, who are set to participate in significant meetings and are expected to sign key agreements that will enhance cooperation between the two nations.

This visit marks the start of a critical diplomatic effort to advance ties between Belarus and Pakistan, with a focus on sectors such as trade and defense.

Upon landing at Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport, the delegation was warmly greeted by Pakistan’s Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Belarus's Ambassador to Pakistan Sajjad Haider Khan, and Shafqat Ali Khan, the Additional Secretary for Europe at Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

President Lukashenko is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on Monday.

According to media reports, he will hold meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir.

The talks are expected to focus on deepening bilateral ties and expanding economic collaboration.

Discussions are likely to concentrate on strengthening economic ties and deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Several important agreements, particularly in the areas of business, trade, and defense, are anticipated during the visit.
