Islamabad (Staff Report): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Thursday said that a strong judicial system and rule of law is necessary for the country's survival.
Addressing members of the bar during a ceremony, Nisar said the judiciary is trying to rid society of injustice and provide swift and easy access to justice for the public, adding that everyone is on board that there should be rule of law in the country.
"Rule of law means equality of law for all," he said, adding that a strong judicial system is necessary for society to function.
