Karachi (Web Desk): The cost of 24 karat gold saw a notable increase, rising by Rs500 to reach Rs282,900 per tola, compared to Rs282,400 on the previous day.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also climbed by Rs429, moving from Rs242,112 to Rs242,541.
The value of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw an uptick, rising by Rs393 to Rs222,337 from Rs221,944.
Meanwhile, silver prices experienced a slight decline. The price of per tola silver fell by Rs9, settling at Rs3,372, while the cost of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs8, reaching Rs2,890.
In the global markets, the price of gold also saw a minor rise, going up by $5 to $2,708 from $2,703.
