Islamabad: While a bomb alarm caused emergency like situation for a PIA plane, it was denied permission to land at Heathrow Airport in London.
According to a private TV channel, PIA pilots asked for permission to make an emergency landing at the central UK airport due to a bomb threat.
The flight PK-757 was flying to Heathrow from Lahore.The bomb threat was made 30 minutes before it was to land at the Heathrow Airport.The plane was diverted to Stansted airport over reports of a suspicious item on the plane.
