Born in 1941 in Qila Gujjar Singh, Lahore, Ali Ejaz's journey in the arts began in the vibrant theatre scene of the 1960s. His close friendship with the renowned comedian Munawwar Zareef, a fellow student, shaped the early years of his career.
Ali Ejaz's undeniable talent and versatility soon earned him a cherished place on Pakistan Television, where he not only showcased his acting prowess but also mentored countless aspiring artists.
His name became synonymous with iconic TV dramas, including Khawaja and Sons, Sona Aur Chandi, and Lakhon Mein Teen, all of which captured the hearts of viewers and became a staple of household viewing.
In the world of cinema, his debut came with the film Insaniyat, and he went on to star in over 100 films, earning a special place in the 1980s golden era of Pakistani cinema. His collaborations with actress Anjuman and comedian Nannha (Rafi Khawar) were particularly beloved, making them one of the most popular on-screen pairings of that time.
