Punjab CM announces mega projects including medical, agricultural and law colleges for Mianwali

Mianwali (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to bringing essential services directly to the people of Mianwali.

Speaking to a large gathering in the city, she introduced a host of new development projects aimed at enhancing education and healthcare.

She announced plans to set up a medical college, a law college, and an agriculture college, along with a teaching hospital to provide advanced medical care to the local population.

Additionally, she promised the launch of a Green Bus service for the city and pledged to provide farmers with free agricultural land.

In addition, she revealed that millions of acres of government-owned land across Punjab will soon be allocated to families struggling without a steady source of income, with residents of Mianwali among those set to benefit from this initiative.

The Punjab CM further announced that 40 million deserving citizens would receive Rs10,000 each during Ramadan, providing much-needed relief to ordinary families.

“People of Punjab are now experiencing tangible improvements in their homes and daily lives, she said.

Earlier, Maryam Nawaz inaugurated a new cardiac catheterization laboratory at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ), highlighting it as a crucial step toward improving healthcare facilities in the district.

Criticizing the previous government, the Punjab CM said that Mianwali had been under governance for four years without any meaningful development.

She urged the public not to support those she described as fraudsters, asserting that the Punjab government would transform the province’s prospects within three years.

Maryam also highlighted the accomplishments of her administration over the past two years, claiming that the scale of development work during this period surpasses that of the last twenty years.

The Punjab CM assured the residents of Mianwali that their district would no longer remain underdeveloped and that they would enjoy the same facilities and opportunities available in major cities across the province.
