Lebanon’s president confirms direct talks with Israel

Beirut (Web Desk): Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun has confirmed that direct negotiations between Lebanon and Israel have officially begun.

He stated that these talks are a crucial step toward resolving the current tense situation and establishing peace in the region.

President Aoun emphasized that ending the tension and preventing further clashes between the two countries requires immediate action.

He added that Lebanon is actively engaging in dialogue with Israel to improve relations and promote stability.

Additionally, President Aoun called on the international community to support the ongoing negotiation and ceasefire efforts to help ensure a reduction in violence and the achievement of lasting peace.
