Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar on Monday stated that Pakistan’s security forces have killed 435 operatives of the Afghan Taliban regime and demolished 188 of their posts in the course of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, also known as (Righteous Fury).
He said the campaign was launched in response to “unprovoked action” from across the border.
Presenting an update at 3:00 pm, the minister reported that more than 630 Afghan operatives had been wounded during the operation.
The minister added that 188 tanks and other armored vehicles were destroyed as part of the military action.
Tarar further revealed that Pakistani forces seized control of 31 Afghan posts and conducted air strikes on 51 sites within Afghanistan.
The information minister termed the operation a resolute and proportionate response to cross-border aggression, highlighting the extensive losses suffered by the Afghan Taliban regime.
