Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar on Saturday said that hat Pakistan’s armed forces had killed 331 Afghan Taliban militants, demolished 104 border posts and taken 22 fighters into custody during Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, launched in retaliation for what he termed “unprovoked action” from across the frontier.
Issuing a situation report at 9:00 AM outlining the losses suffered by the Afghan Taliban regime, the federal information minister said that the operation, also referred to as “Righteous Fury,” had left more than 500 Afghan operatives wounded.
He added that the military campaign resulted in the destruction of 163 tanks and other armored vehicles.
Furthermore, air power was employed against 37 sites within Afghanistan, all of which were effectively struck as part of the offensive.
