California (Web Desk): Popular messaging platform WhatsApp has launched a new artificial intelligence-based feature called "Writing Help", designed to assist users in composing, proofreading, and refining the tone of their messages.
This latest innovation leverages Meta’s private processing technology, ensuring that neither WhatsApp nor Meta can access users’ original messages or AI-generated suggestions. The company has emphasized that messages will remain fully encrypted and private, even when this AI tool is in use.
The "Writing Help" feature allows users to rephrase their messages in multiple styles such as professional, humorous, or casual, offering greater flexibility and impact in communication.
According to Meta, the goal is to empower users with smart messaging tools within WhatsApp itself, reducing the need to rely on external AI platforms like ChatGPT for writing assistance.
Initially, the feature is being rolled out in select countries, with plans to expand its availability to users worldwide in the coming weeks.
