Mohsin Naqvi reviews new, under-construction police stations in Islamabad

Islamabad (Web Desk): Efforts to improve the condition of police stations in Islamabad have been accelerated.

According to details, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited newly constructed and under-construction police stations in the city to assess their condition.

The minister inspected the new building of Kohsar Police Station, the under-construction Women Police Station in G-6, and Korang Police Station. While reviewing the new facilities at Kohsar Police Station, he directed that additional amenities be provided for the convenience of the public.

Naqvi emphasized that the newly built police stations should focus on enhancing public services to promote modern policing.

The interior minister also ordered the swift completion of the Women Police Station in G-6 and ensured that necessary resources would be allocated on a priority basis. He set a two-month deadline for completing the construction of the Korang Police Station.

The Interior Minister stated that the initiative to create people-friendly police stations equipped with modern technology would improve the policing system in Islamabad. The introduction of state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology aims to bring Islamabad's police system up to international standards.

The visit was attended by the Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad Police, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, and other relevant officials.
