After winning the toss, New Zealand decided to bat first against Pakistan and set a 164-run target for Pakistan at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Chasing a target of 164 runs, Pakistan were bowled out for 159 on the final ball of the innings.
Pakistan are now leading the series 2-1 after winning the first two matches by 88 and 38 runs respectively.
