Pakistan beat Ireland by 6 wickets to clinch T20I series

Dublin (Web Desk): Pakistan defeated Ireland by six wickets in last match to win three-match T20I series 2-1 at the Clontarf Cricket Club in Dublin on Tuesday.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first against Ireland.

Batting first, Ireland scored 178 runs for loss of 7 wickets in allotted 20 overs.

In reply, Pakistan achieved the target in 17 overs for loss of 4 wickets.

Ireland’s Lorcan Tucker played an innings of 73 runs off 41 balls including 13 fours and a six. Andy Balburnie scored 35 and Harry Tack Tour scored 30 runs.

From Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi bagged 3 wickets Abbas Afridi 2 while Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim took one wicket each.

From Pakistan side, captain Babar Azam scored 75 runs including 6 fours and 5 towering sixes. Mohammad Rizwan scored 56 runs off 38 balls. Saeem Ayub was dismissed for 14 runs while Azam Khan was not out for 18 runs.

Ireland's Mark Adair dismissed 3 players while Craig Young took one wicket.
