Tharparkar’s coal reserves as vast as Saudi Arabia’s oil: Bilawal Bhutto

Tharparkar (Web Desk): Pakistan People's Party  Chairman (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has emphasized that the coal reserves in Tharparkar are as vast as the oil reserves of Saudi Arabia. He stated that Tharparkar stands as the most significant answer to the false narratives being spread about the region.

While addressing a gathering in Thar, Bilawal Bhutto remarked, “Some individuals are trying to plunder the rights and resources of Sindh, and there is a continuous effort to malign the province's reputation.”

He also added that the electricity produced from Thar's coal is not only benefiting the local area but also reaching other parts of the country, including Faisalabad, showcasing that Sindh’s resources are being used for the welfare of all Pakistanis.

Bilawal further assured that the PPP government has always been pro-poor and has consistently prioritized the welfare of the public in every administration.

The remarks come at a time when Tharparkar is becoming a focal point of national discussions due to its significant coal reserves and growing energy production potential.
