Tharparkar (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced a massive health package for the residents of Tharparkar under the ‘Insaf Health Card’ scheme.
The scheme is expected to benefit 112,000 families residing in the drought-stricken region.
Addressing a public gathering in Chachro on Friday, PM Imran said that medical facility seven hundred and twenty thousand rupees (7,20,000/- Rs) will be provided to every deserving in any hospital.
The Prime Minister said that the biggest objective of his coming into the power was to ameliorate poverty.
“I decided to visit Tharparkar because the area is the most backward in Pakistan and seventy-five percent people of the local people are living below the poverty line,” PM Imran added.
PM Khan said while in India, the minorities are being subjected to exploitation and discrimination, the Pakistani government is providing all facilities to the minorities, particularly the Hindus.
